My Happy Valentines Day
Wednesday, February 18, 2009
So Tuesday before Valentines Day Nick and I are sitting in the living room and he looks over at me and asked.
"What are you doing Saturday?"
I replied
"Nothing. Why?"
He said
"Just wondering. Stay home all day so you can get your surprise."
He wouldn't tell me what the surprise was. I can usually get things out of him but not this time. I was glad I couldn't but sad. You know that feeling. You want to keep it a surprise but you want to know so bad. So I ended up getting pneumonia so I stayed home half the week. Saturday comes and he is getting ready for work. He gives me a kiss bye and tells me to get up so I can get my surprise. He didn't know when it was coming so I figured I would sleep some more. Catherine and Lizzy came downstairs and said that my surprise was here and to come open it.
I went upstairs and there is a tall box sitting on the table. I opened it and inside were Red, Pink and Yellow Mini Roses. It came in a great cream colored potting vase. I am so excited. My dad got my mom red roses when I was born and she has replanted them everywhere we've moved. I am excited to be able to do that. I love mini roses. They are so pretty and small.

Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Saving Able and Buckcherry
Sunday, February 1, 2009
So my SUPER AMAZING DAD won me 2 tickets to the Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Saving Able and Buckcherry on Wednesday the 28th at the E Center. It was so much fun. Saving Able was awesome. I only knew a couple of there songs but it was great. Papa Roach was so cool. I has never seen pictures of them so they look totally different then I thought they would. He started crowd surfing and I was 2 feet away from him. It was so cool. I love seeing Avenged Sevenfold live. They are such a great band. Nick is so great he kept the moshers away from us. We had so much fun. We got some great pictures and video. We didn't stay for Buckcherry. We aren't big fans of them. It was so much fun! I lost my voice and everything.

It is crazy to thing how many things we have to be grateful for when you sit down and think about it.

Hiccups
Wednesday, January 14, 2009

So it all started with walking into the bathroom to take a shower. I got the hiccups. So corporate is here at work this week and I need to look very pulled together and professional. I also had to meet with them to kind of explain what i do and what my opinion is on how things could change, things like that. The hiccups had come and gone through out the day and I'm hoping they aren't choosing me to talk to today. So Jaymie comes in and introduces me to Brent and it was my turn. We walk into Jaymie's office and start talking and sharing opinions. We talked about how salesmen are like children and they need to be rewarded, we need more women salesmen in the world, and our opinions on how things could change. Right in the middle of our meeting I start hiccuping. I am freaking out by this point. They both look and me and kind of giggle asking me if I am OK. I was of course but through out the whole meeting I'm sitting there hiccuping and thinking oh great! This looks really good right now. It became a joke. lol Every time Brent was going to meet with someone Jaymie would say "Now don't scare them into getting the hiccups." The other funny thing was that later that day he sat in the same chair I was and got the hiccups. What are the odds? Do you think hiccups are contagious? hmmmm...
